According to media reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started searching for the head of the women’s team, for which the former Deputy Commissioner Lahore is being considered a strong candidate.
Former Assistant Superintendent of Police Syeda Shahr Bano was quite active in the post during the tenure of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi as the interim Chief Minister of Punjab.
Reports are claiming that the renowned ASP Shahr Bano Naqvi, who gained fame in February this year when she saved a woman from a mob attack in Lahore’s Ichhra Bazaar, was wearing a dress with Arabic calligraphy.
The post of head of women’s cricket in the PCB fell vacant when Tania Malik announced her resignation from the post, having started her tenure at the PCB in October 2021.
