Actress Esha Gupta has finally addressed the long-standing speculations about her relationship with Hardik Pandya. In a candid interview with Siddharth Kannan, she revealed:
“Yeah, for some time we were talking. I don’t think we were dating, but yeah, we were talking for a couple of months… It ended before we even reached the dating stage. So it wasn’t dating. We met once or twice, that’s it.”
She clarified that the timing wasn’t right and personalities differed—”Nothing against Hardik…we were just very different.”
Regarding the backlash from when Pandya appeared on Koffee With Karan in 2019, Esha said it didn’t affect her, as they had already drifted apart by then. She explained that she was already “thick-skinned” and had distanced herself from the controversy.
Emphasizing her preference for a simpler life, she said:
“More than the limelight, I like family and real life… I can’t deal with waking up every morning… and my husband and I praising ourselves for how good‑looking we are.”
In summary, Esha confirmed that while they communicated for a couple of months around 2018, it never evolved into a romantic relationship—no drama, no bitterness—just two people realizing they weren’t compatible.
