Champions Trophy; The Indian board rejected PCB’s offer

A report claimed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had suggested that the Indian team return to Chandigarh or Delhi after each match for the Champions Trophy 2025, but there was no confirmation on this.

Now the Indian board (BCCI) has rejected the proposal to send the Indian team back to the country after the match.

He added that even if this plan was presented to him, he would not accept it.

India will play all their Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Lahore, with matches scheduled on February 20, 23 and March 2.

Earlier, the Indian team last visited Pakistan for the Asia Cup in 2008, after which they boycotted cricket due to political tensions between the two countries, while competing against each other in ICC events.

Earlier, the Pakistani team had gone to India to participate in the 2023 ICC World Cup.
