Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to pen a heartfelt note for his son, Abhishek Bachchan, as the latter completed 25 years in the Hindi film industry. Abhishek, who made his debut with Refugee (2000), has since carved his own niche in Bollywood with memorable performances in films like Guru, Yuva, Dhoom, and more recently, Dasvi and Bob Biswas.
In an emotional post, Amitabh wrote, “25 years in an industry that tests you every day is no small feat. You’ve faced challenges with resilience, celebrated successes with humility, and grown into an artist I deeply admire. Proud of you, Abhishek. Keep inspiring!”
Fans and colleagues flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. Actress Preity Zinta, Abhishek’s co-star in Dhoom, commented, “Time flies! So proud of you, Junior B!” while director R. Balki (Guru, Paa) added, “A rare blend of talent and hard work. Well-deserved!”
Abhishek responded with gratitude, thanking his father and fans for their unwavering support. “It’s been an incredible journey—full of lessons, love, and laughter. Here’s to many more!” he tweeted.
The Bachchans are expected to celebrate this milestone with a private family gathering. Meanwhile, Abhishek is gearing up for his next project, a sports drama directed by Anurag Kashyap.
